"ANY AND EVERY" MEANS YOU'RE INVITED. PERIOD.

No matter who you are or where you come from, there's a place for you at Breakaway. Whether this is your first time attending a Bible study, you're new to Texas A&M, or you're simply curious about Jesus, we're so glad you're here. This page is designed to help first-time visitors know exactly what to expect when you join us for Tuesday night worship in College Station. Breakaway gathers every Tuesday at 9PM during the school year, most weeks in Reed Arena on the Texas A&M campus. If you still have questions -- or just want someone to say "you can sit with us" -- reach out. We'll be excited to connect with you.

Visiting Breakaway is just the beginning, our goal isn't just to see you on Tuesday nights, but to help you discover a Christian community where you truly belong. Whether that means connecting with someone to pray or ask questions, finding a local church in College Station, or joining a small group Bible study, we will be there to help.

Do I need to be a Christian to come?

Absolutely not. Breakaway exists for you. Whether you're skeptical, seeking, or simply curious about faith, this is the perfect place to explore who Jesus is without pressure or judgment. Over the years, thousands of students have taken their first step with Jesus at Breakaway, and many had never stepped foot in a Bible study before. We think it might be the perfect place for you to do the same.

How can I stay connected?

Follow us on social media, and make sure you're signed up for our text updates here.

Who can come to Breakaway?

Breakaway is for any and every college student, regardless of religious background. While Texas A&M, Blinn, and Rellis are the schools most represented, many students from other campuses make the drive to join us every week. There is no dress code, and we don't check ID's at the door. Short answer: you are invited.

When and where does Breakaway meet?

Tuesdays at 9PM during the school year. Most weeks you will find us in Reed Arena. Check the schedule here.

Who teaches at Breakaway?

Most Tuesdays it is our Executive Director, Brian McCormack who teaches the Bible. All guest speakers are trusted voices who align with Breakaway's beliefs.

So what's your Breakaway story?

“Coming into college, Breakaway was a breath of fresh air into how to grow in relationship with the Lord. My walk with Christ has been deepened by speakers over the years and by those who have been willing to invest in our lives.”

“Breakaway is where God first broke my heart for those unreached by the Gospel all over the world. The trajectory of my life was completely changed as I realized Jesus was worth laying down my own dreams to chase His."
